Chaga Mushroom Latte

So you are looking for a delicious replacement for that daily coffee you have just broken up with? Let me introduce you to the Chaga Mushroom Latte. Creamy and delicious, energy enhancing and immune boosting this antioxidant rich beverage contains the king of mushrooms, Chaga, which can be considered a medicinal food as it is anti-cancerous anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory and grows right here in Canada on live birch trees. I bought my Chaga from The Light Cellar here in Calgary but it can be found online here.

This latte contains yogi spice mix which gives it a delicious chai flavour. I make this mix ahead and keep it in a small jam jar to use in baking and when making lattes or dandelion root tea. It comprises of 3 teaspoons of cinnamon, 3 teaspoons of cardamon, 1/2 teaspoon of cloves and 2 teaspoons of ginger. Try it in banana muffins, cookies and lattes.
