Don’t Let Your Snacks Be As Ugly As Your Game Face

Playoff fever is beginning to peak here in Calgary as we await the Calgary Flames in game 2 against the Vancouver Canucks in the Stanley Cup playoffs. It’s been a few years since the Flames made the playoffs and it is fantastic for the fans to be able to exercise their cheering muscles. It is time.






If you are settling down in your basement to watch the match on TV it’s obvious you are going to want some beer and snacks. 

Don’t be a loser and eat snacks that are as ugly as your game face; there is no excuse not to pound down some healthy food while the Flames pummel the Canucks.

There is still time to make a delicious Beetroot Hummus to serve with organic corn chips (a snack that supports your liver even as you drink your beer!) or this super tasty Curried Carrot and Apricot Dip with toasted pita bread.

Grill some grass fed steaks on the barbecue and serve with this sweet/salty, fibre rich Asian Style Brown Rice Salad or a nutrition dense Kale and Strawberry Sweet Balsamic Salad.

Go ahead and scream for your team but be sure to bring it with the nutrition while you are enjoying the game.
