Now you might not want to be drinking alcohol all through the holiday period, you might be driving, be pregnant or just want to give your liver a break!
Here is a beautiful and refreshing cocktail to mix up and enjoy that will support your body with a big dose of vitamin C and anti-oxidant rich pomegranate and lime. Hints of ginger warm the cockles of your heart and fire up the metabolism.
You will need a good blender such as a Vitamix or Nutribullet for this recipe as those pomegranate seeds can be tough. Otherwise you can strain your juices into a glass after blending. A good blender ensures that you enjoy all the fibre and beneficial nutrition from the seeds.
One teaspoon of coconut sugar takes the citrussy edge off this cocktail and unlike refined white sugar, coconut sugar retains it’s rich mineral nutrition including calcium, iron, potassium and immunity supporting zinc.
